The Meticulous Preparation: To eliminate toxins, 1,800 litres of herbal decoction are reduced to 100 litres by the ancient method of simmering over a wood fire at gentle heat. This 100 litres is then boiled down further with 300 litres of milk. Into this, 40 litres of our 10-year-old Purana Ghrita is added, and after six or seven days it is taken off the fire at a specific gentle temperature — yielding a precise 42 litres of Ashwagandhā Ghrita. This long and exacting process is why its value exceeds ₹18,000 per kilogram.
